Sadly some less needy places are quick to tirade

When it comes time to divvying up $4.3 billion

Earmarked to help prepare local American

Communities fight the “War on Terror”

Honestly some merely purport to truly care

When Wyoming gets $38.31 per person

And NYC winds up receiving $5.47

It’s quite obvious there’s looting and leaven

Politically permeating, penetrating, and corrupting

The legitimate cause for securing communities

The farm fiasco reminds us historically of subsidies

Misappropriated, misdirected, doled out, and spent

The Great Depression has already come and went

Nevertheless 70 years later farmers get handouts

Meanwhile our budget deficit is an eventual blowout

Soon our unprecedented borrowing and war spending

Will blow up in our face as deflation brings disgrace

When the greenback has a devastating heart attack

Economists longtime premonitions and precautions

Unheeded, unheard, disregarded, and abandoned

Will come true suddenly like the terrorists who landed

On American soil, to beguile, spoil, and foil.

When greedy congressmen get fat grants

Make sure they are used to erect & employ

Needed security measures to prevent every ploy

Of terrorists who seek to annihilate and destroy

Security cash checks should not be for everyone

Only those in jeopardy who must get the job done

Dollars aren’t for getting votes and having hog wild fun

Designate them to secure San Francisco and Houston

Use them to thwart terrorist activity in Washington

Appropriate them to flow forth into Chicago

To deal to terrorist cells there a deadly blow

Funnel funds to Los Angeles to guard infrastructure

Seize weirdos in LAX, where you can never be too sure

Prevent FOB’s from illegally coming by boat into Seattle

Train troops and supply armaments for every battle

Get the National Guard ready to move in New York City

Where explosives and chemical warfare won’t be pretty

Strengthen and secure every high-density threat target

Wisely outsmart every disgruntled Islamic militant

Reverse the porkish trend and boldly redirect dollars

Toward the most populated and devastated areas

Including those wrecked by natural disasters

Make the funding system work much faster

To bypass the greedy scoundrels

Who try to manipulate the system

Halt the pork with a legislative addendum

Make the nation leaner and meaner

Much tougher against terror

Beginning with the liars who play unfair

As they salivate seeking green from somewhere

Publicly expose them for their dishonesty

Rid our homeland security spending of obesity

Cut away the pork, keeping only what’s necessary.
